Where San Ramon eats lunch
Thousands of people work in San Ramon’s office parks, and lunch is often a short walk from their desks. Food halls and dining plazas near the offices mix fast-casual counters, cafés and shared seating, often with tables outdoors.
Places like these share one pattern: a few hours of very heavy use, then a long quiet stretch. San Ramon Cleaning plans for both, with day porters during service and a full clean after the last counter closes.
Seating, tables and trays
During the rush, tables are wiped and sanitized between diners. At night, chairs, booths and high-tops get a full wipe of seats, backs and bases. Trays are collected, washed where the hall runs a tray program and stacked dry at the return points. High chairs, bar rails and window ledges near the seating get cleaned too, because parents and lunch crowds notice them.
Condiment, beverage and waste stations
Condiment counters gather spilled sauce, sugar packets and napkin litter. Porters wipe them down, keep napkins and utensils stocked from our supplies or the hall’s own stock and clear spills from the floor beneath. Beverage stations and water dispensers get the same attention, with drip trays emptied and the surrounding floor dried.
Waste and recycling stations fill fastest at peak. Bins are emptied before they overflow, liners replaced, sorting signs and lids wiped and the floor around each station mopped. At night the station cabinets are washed inside and out.
Restrooms and floors through peak hours
Food court restrooms take heavy traffic in short bursts. During service a porter checks them on a regular round, refilling soap, towels and tissue and clearing counters and floors. Overnight they get a full clean and disinfection, with fixtures, partitions and floor drains scrubbed.
Floors carry the most risk. A spill is cleaned up the moment it happens, with a wet-floor sign set and the spot left dry. After closing, the seating floor is swept, run with an auto-scrubber and detailed by hand around table bases, and periodic work comes through our hard floor care.
Day porters in service, deep cleaning at night
The day porter shift covers the lunch and dinner peaks, moving between tables, stations, restrooms and entrances on a set loop. The night crew comes in after the last vendor closes for the deep work: tables and chairs detailed, floors machine-scrubbed, restrooms reset and trash hauled to the dock. We can clean vendor kitchens too, each on its own checklist.
Supervisors run quality inspections on both shifts. Porters and night crews are background-checked, and San Ramon Cleaning sends the property manager a certificate of insurance before work starts.
Entrances, glass and outdoor seating
Diners judge a food hall from the door. Entry glass and push plates are cleaned through the day, walk-off mats are vacuumed and shaken out, and the vestibule floor is kept dry when the rain comes. Menu boards, sneeze-guard edges on shared counters and the glass around seating areas are wiped so fingerprints never pile up.
Halls and dining plazas often spill outside onto patios and plaza seating. Outdoor tables and chairs are wiped before the lunch crowd arrives, bins at the patio edge are emptied on the porter loop, and bird droppings and spilled drinks are cleaned off the paving. Larger plaza areas can be added to a periodic pressure washing schedule.
Pricing a food court or food hall
We price after walking the seating area, vendor fronts, restrooms and back-of-house corridors with you. The number of seats, hours of service, porter hours on peak days, restroom count, tray handling and floor type all set the figure. Vendor kitchens are priced as their own line, and the shops around a hall can be covered by our retail cleaning.
A few useful answers
Common questions
Can a porter stay on the floor through the lunch rush?
Yes. A day porter works a loop of tables, condiment and waste stations, restrooms and entrances for the hours you choose, handling spills throughout.
What happens during the night clean?
Tables and chairs are detailed, floors are machine-scrubbed, restrooms are cleaned and disinfected, station cabinets are washed and trash goes to the dock.
Do you clean the vendor kitchens too?
Yes. Each vendor kitchen gets its own checklist and is priced as a separate line.
What does a porter do when a drink hits the floor at noon?
The porter sets a wet-floor sign, cleans the spill right away and leaves the spot dry before moving on.
