When the room is the product
A coworking operator sells space by the desk and by the month, and members judge that space every time they sit down. Someone touring for a membership walks past the same lounge, kitchen and restrooms the regulars use, so a sticky counter or an overflowing bin is seen by the very people deciding whether to join.
Flexible workspace in San Ramon sits inside office campuses and business parks near the freeway and in smaller shared suites in the city’s retail centers. Whether yours is a full floor or a handful of rooms, the visit list follows its layout: open desks, private offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, a lounge and a kitchen.
Hot desks, dedicated desks and private offices
Hot desks are cleared by members at the end of the day, so the crew can wipe each one completely: the work surface, the chair arms, the monitor stand and the desk lamp. Dedicated desks keep their belongings. The crew wipes the open part of the surface, empties the bin underneath and leaves every laptop, notebook and coffee mug where it was found.
Private offices are cleaned to whatever arrangement you have with each member, from a full nightly clean to trash and vacuuming only. Shared keyboards, mice and docking stations at hot desks can be added to the wipe-down list if you want them included.
Phone booths and meeting rooms
Phone booths are tiny but heavily handled. Their glass doors collect palm prints, and the seat, the ledge and the door pull are touched by everyone who books a call. Each booth gets its glass cleaned on both sides, its surfaces wiped and its floor vacuumed, and the acoustic panels and vents are dusted on a periodic schedule.
Each meeting room is put back in order for its next booking: the table and chairs wiped, remotes and conference phones cleaned, glass walls polished and chairs tucked in. Whiteboards are erased unless a board is marked to keep, so a team’s diagram from the afternoon is still there in the morning if they asked for it.
The kitchen and coffee bar
The members’ kitchen is in use from the first coffee to the last. Counters and the sink are scrubbed, the coffee machine and water dispenser wiped on the outside, the microwave cleaned inside and out, and the refrigerator handles and front done. If your house rules call for a weekly fridge clear-out, tell us the day and the crew takes care of it.
If you would rather skip the trips to the warehouse store, our team can buy coffee, snacks and drinks and stock the shelves through pantry restocking, so your community manager is not the one carrying cases in from the car.
Daytime upkeep while members work
Nightly cleaning resets the space, but a full day of members can undo some of it by mid-afternoon. A day porter keeps things in order during your open hours: straightening the lounge, wiping kitchen counters after lunch, checking and refilling restrooms and clearing the entry. The porter works quietly around people on calls and at their desks.
Restrooms, entries and the floors beneath it all
Every visit includes the restrooms: toilets and sinks scrubbed and disinfected, stall partitions and mirrors wiped down, the floor mopped, and toilet paper, towels and hand soap refilled from our janitorial supplies or from stock you buy. At the front, the door glass is cleaned and the reception counter wiped, so a visitor’s first look is a good one.
Rolling chairs wear lanes into carpet around desk clusters, so those paths get attention on regular visits. Open desk areas with carpet also get spot treatment and periodic carpet extraction. Polished or sealed concrete gets machine scrubbing, and vinyl or tile in the kitchen is scrubbed or recoated through our floor care service. That work is booked for a weekend so members come back to dry floors.
Starting service at your space
A floor plan is the quickest way in. Send it with your member hours and any regular event nights, and after a walkthrough you get a written plan that splits the work into nightly visits, porter hours and periodic floor jobs. Background-checked cleaners do the work and supervisors come through for quality inspections. The operator is handed a certificate of insurance at the start, backed by our insurance, bonding and workers’ compensation. Get in touch to arrange the walkthrough.
A few useful answers
Common questions
Will the crew move things members leave on their desks?
No. Laptops, papers and mugs on a dedicated desk are left as they are; the crew wipes the clear part of the surface and empties the bin beneath it.
Some members work late. When does the cleaning happen?
You pick the window, usually the hours with the fewest people in. If someone is still at a desk, the crew works around them and comes back to that area last.
Can the lounge be cleaned up after a member mixer?
Yes. Book an extra visit for that night. The crew gathers cups and trash, wipes tables and counters, and has the lounge, kitchen and restrooms back in order before morning.
Who keeps the coffee and snacks stocked?
That can be our job. We purchase coffee, snacks and drinks and fill the pantry on a set day, or the crew restocks from whatever you buy.
