Fitness where San Ramon works and lives
A good share of San Ramon’s workouts happen a short walk from the office. Office campuses keep fitness centers for the people who work there, stocked with cardio and strength equipment, and the city adds clubs with free weights, group classes and pools.
Community gymnasiums open their courts to residents after the school day. Around them are boutique studios in the shopping centers, 24-hour clubs and fitness rooms inside apartment communities and hotels. Each one faces the same test from its members: does the place feel clean the minute they walk in?
Showers, locker rooms and restrooms
We give the wet areas the most time on every visit. Shower walls and floors are scrubbed, soap scum is cut from tile and grout, drain covers are lifted and cleared, and shower doors and dividers are wiped spotless. Benches, locker fronts, door pulls and vanity tops are cleaned and dried so nothing feels damp or sticky to the next person.
Toilets, urinals and sinks are cleaned and disinfected along with flush handles, faucet levers and stall latches, and mirrors are polished. Supplies are restocked from our stock or your storeroom, waste goes out, and the tile is squeegeed and dried at the end so the morning crowd steps onto a dry floor.
The workout floor and every surface people grip
Our cleaners move through the floor machine by machine. Treadmill rails and consoles, bike and rower handles, cable attachments, seat and back pads, pull-pins and bench tops are cleaned and disinfected, and the racks that hold dumbbells, kettlebells and plates are wiped free of chalk and residue. Yoga mats, foam rollers and medicine balls are wiped and returned to their shelves.
Rubber floor tiles and rolled rubber are vacuumed to pull grit out of the surface, then damp-mopped with a neutral cleaner that keeps the rubber supple and leaves no slick layer. We finish along rack bases, under benches and behind cardio rows where dust gathers. Deeper scrubbing of hard floors and rubber is scheduled through our commercial floor care service.
Studios, mirrors, front desk and staff rooms
Studio rooms are reset after the last class. Mirror walls are wiped from corner to corner, ballet barres, spin bikes and reformer frames are wiped, steps and hand weights are cleaned and racked, and the floor is cleaned for its finish. Glass walls, entry doors and the interior windows into the studios are cleaned until they are streak-free.
The front desk is the first thing a member sees, so the counter, check-in tablets, retail displays and lobby chairs are cleaned and the entry mats vacuumed. Staff areas are on the same route: the break room counter, sink, refrigerator and microwave are wiped, desks in the manager’s office are dusted, and trash is emptied throughout.
Cleaning on your members’ clock
We usually clean overnight or before the early-morning doors open, so the floor is clear for the first members. Studios are cleaned once the evening schedule wraps, and workplace fitness centers are cleaned after the office day ends.
For a club that never closes, we split the building into zones and rotate through them. Half a locker room at a time is closed with signage while the other half stays open, one area of the floor is cleaned while members work out in another, and the lowest-traffic hours go to showers and the heaviest jobs.
Peak hours bring sweat, spills and empty dispensers. A porter from our day porter services can cover the after-work rush and Saturday mornings, restocking restrooms, wiping benches and grips and keeping the locker room floor dry.
Gyms, studios and fitness rooms
We clean large clubs, 24-hour facilities, functional-training gyms and boutique studios for yoga, indoor cycling, Pilates, climbing and martial arts. Each one has its own equipment, whether that is padded mats, pull-up rigs or rowing machines, and we write the checklist around what is actually on your floor.
Workplace fitness rooms are a natural fit alongside our office cleaning, and we also clean apartment and hotel gyms where a small room takes heavy daily use. Physical therapy clinics with a gym floor get close attention on plinths, balance gear and resistance machines, and disinfection can be added for any space that wants extra rounds.
What shapes the cost of gym cleaning
Your price comes from the size of the facility and how hard it is used. Square footage, how many nights a week we come in, your count of locker rooms, showers and restrooms, how many studios you operate, 24-hour operation, your floor surfaces and any porter coverage at peak times all play a part.
We walk the club with you, then send a written quote, with porter hours and periodic floor scrubbing priced on their own so the monthly figure is easy to follow.
A few useful answers
Common questions
Can you clean our gym while members are still working out?
Yes. We clean in zones, closing half a locker room or one section of the floor at a time, so members keep their routine while the work gets done.
How often are cardio machines and weight benches disinfected?
On every visit. Rails, consoles, handles, seat pads, pull-pins and bench tops are cleaned and disinfected machine by machine each time we come in.
Do you clean workplace fitness rooms in San Ramon office buildings?
Yes. A workplace fitness room can join the building’s office cleaning schedule, with its own checklist for equipment, mirrors, mats and the floor.
Can a porter cover our Saturday morning rush?
Yes. A day porter can be booked for weekend peaks to restock restrooms, wipe benches and grips, empty bins and keep locker room floors dry.
What does rubber gym flooring need to stay clean?
Regular vacuuming to lift grit, then damp mopping with a neutral cleaner made for rubber, plus periodic machine scrubbing for floors that see heavy use.
